Trout Unlimited

Tongariro National Trout Centre Society (TNTCS), Inc (The role of the Tongariro National Trout Centre Society (Inc) is to promote and foster public interest and understanding of the Taupo trout fishery, other freshwater fisheries and freshwater ecology. They achieve this through development of the Tongariro National Trout Centre site, just south of Turangi and wider promotion and education programmes.)

New Zealand Fish and Game Council (Angler and gamebird hunter organisation which has a statutory mandate to manage New Zealand's freshwater sportsfish fisheries and gamebird hunting)

Department of Conservation (DOC) - Taupo Fishery Information (The Taupo Fishery Area has a unique role in DOC.  Unlike other area offices, which undertake the field delivery of the whole range of the department’s work and services, the Taupo Fishery Area is solely responsible for the management of the Taupo sports fishery.  Elsewhere in New Zealand, sports fisheries are managed by Fish and Game councils which are elected Crown entities operating under delegated authority of the Conservation Act.  As a result the Fishery Area has a slightly different structure from its counterparts elsewhere in the department.)

New Zealand Federation of Freshwater Anglers (The NZFFA is an affiliation of angling clubs from throughout NZ. It has been operating continuously since 1974. It is an independent organisation which represents the collective interests of the anglers who participate in freshwater sports fishing in New Zealand.)

Living Rivers (Living Rivers is a coalition of four national NGOs with a passion for New Zealand’s rivers)

EnviroFunz (Funding information service for environmental and conservation projects in Aotearoa/New Zealand)

National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (New Zealand's leading supplier of atmospheric and aquatic science)
